  Just brought a digital SLR Canon 350D this week. Previous camera was a digital kodak CX6230 which I have to say got me good photos over the years along with a kodak advantix camera. Told I have a good eye, but I will let my peers on this website be the judge of that. Strictly amateur photographer, so any tips, advice and criticisms I get will be taken on board and learned from. Came across this site by pure chance looking for tips on DSLR picture taking.

  Mark good luck on the site and that it will becomes more sucessful as time moves on. Definitely will join in the Photography Ireland Competition. Already on the road for tips from SteveD concerning a good lens for the canon (thanks!) and I hope to give some advice back if I can.Thank you one and all. :D
