I like the 3rd b+w one, pity though that the wheels are cropped out.
First one might benefit from some sharpening (good action capture though, ie off the ground etc). Did you apply any after scanning ?Nice to see some bike photos.

The original image pre-scan is quite sharp, you can see the fear in his eyes. In 91′ I got a certificate of merit in the Mazda sports photographer of the year award for that shot, I was quite pleased then. The b&w image has been cropped post-scan, perhaps a bit too severe. I take your point. I must find some of the gaelic picures. How abot this for a laugh. The quality is pretty bad at this stage. This shot was taken in 89′ a dublin minor match. Its called spot the ball.
