I don’t know whether to put this in the Digital Photography forum or the Cameras forum or even the General Photography Sites forum, as it really belongs in all three. I guess the Digital Photography forum is the one people see most, so that’s why I decided to put it here.
The EOS Digital Photo Guidebook for Professionals – A guidebook for photographers who choose EOS digital cameras as the tools of their trade, (which can also be downloaded as a PDF) should be of interest to any Canon users out there but may also be of interest to non-Canon users as it covers a lot of the areas important and/or new to digital photography such as histograms and white balance for example.
Neat link Thorsten, I printed it off and had a good read of it. Apart from the film v digital stuff its a great read.
I was wondering if you had any recomendations for a book on colour management and preparing images for press/printing? Or the same topics as the eos guide?

Although I don’t have it myself, apparently the industry standard on this topic for photographers is a book by Bruce Fraser called Real World Colour Management. I’ve only ever heard good things about this book.
Hi Thorsten, thanks for that!! :) Is this book anyway related to the EOS training days they run in the UK. Wonder has any one here ever gone? You would be surprised how much you dont know about your own camera-i only found out the other day that u can bracket your white balance..
