  Hi all,

  A Banded Demoiselle from the Shannon this summer. Taken with a 20D and a Sigma 150mm. C & C, advice etc. welcome.

  Absolutely superb…that is a sharp lens indeed! I’ll have to start looking for 2nd hand macro lenses :wink:

  Noely is still safe enough. As reagrds lenes I find for quality, value for money, portability etc. the Sigma 105mm is hard to beat. The Sigma 150mm is very good. However, it is a bit heavy at times and often requires either a monopod or tripod to get the really good shot. You can pick up a 105mm fo around 300 euro second hand.

  That’s a beauty griangraf! Love how everything important is right in the focal plane…

  Very envious of the macro skills being presented in this forum. I’m going to have to ban myself for a month to let the self-esteem recover…!
