You are wrong. Old good screw driver in older version seems to work faster and better. Moreover, Canon version exist only with the same type of micro motor.
One thing is true – this lens is razor sharp.
I know it is not the right place for such discussion, but the advert should be right. Good luck!dmgParticipantIf you are interested in splitting the sale I would be interested in the two 67mm filter lenses.
materaParticipantdmg – I’ll let you know next week; I’m going to try sell everything in one go.

I use it with my Fuji S5Pro, which is DX, and with Nikon F80 film camera, and it works perfect with both.
That’s what I found on the internet:
The Tamron 28-75/2.8 is the smallest and lightest 2.8 standard zoom suitable for full frame cameras. Sigma has a smaller one, but it is a DX lens designed for the reduced APS sensor size.skylensMemberThanks for getting back to me on that matera.
I searched the web for info too and there was nothing about it (that I could find) on Tamron’s own website.
I need absolute confirmation that it is a FF FX format compatible lens as I would be using it with a D700,
because if so then I could be interested, although I am trying to find a Nikon 24-70 2.8 at a reasonable
price. The Tamron would be my fall back as I need this focal length range for a job in two weeks.
Just so that you know.cheers
