Looks like you got some good action, there appears to be a bit of motion blur, try to increase the shutter speed to around 1/500. You may get a bit of noise if you don’t have the light, but its better to get good focus photos with a little noise.
I don’t mean to be critical, but the first one looks like focus dropped to the background advertising. It can be quite hard to keep the focus on the action. Make sure you select the centre point only focus point on your camera. Turn off any image stabilisation. Then just set a high shutter speed (1/500) and try to track the action.
For the 2nd image, the composition is good, but the image seems a bit blurred. Again, a high enough shutter speed should help.
Overall, try, try, try. Keep up the work and don’t give up.
actually like the second image , the blur gives movement but paul on the button with the auto focus on the first,
top marks for first effort,
i always use manual or with fast moving side line duties, single, centre point auto.
