I know that she’s new to modelling and unfortunately it shows in these images because she looks quite stiff and uncomfortable. I like the overall finish that you’ve given to the images – very pleasing to the eye (well, to mine at least). Less pleasing on the eye, however, is the fact that you used some very wide angles in some of the shots (17mm!!!) – not the most flattering to the model and it only serves to make her look even more uncomfortable. I understand that DublinStudio is quite small and you probably had no choice but to use that wide an angle if you wanted full bpdy shots. When faced with such a limitation, it’s probably best to stick to head shots and I noticed that you do have a good headshot of Ange in the series (although I would have framed it vertically).
I’m sure Ange will be happy with the shots and I’ve no doubt you are too, so at the end of the day, it’s mission accomplished! Good to see some decent shots of Ange at last.
davenewtParticipantLike the first one G… although I think it’s the rigid arms, down by her sides, which are the main prob? If her arms were relaxed, folded, one arm draped on the back of a prop like a chair or something…? Just my first thought…
AllinthemindParticipantI agree with Dave, generally, with people shots, if there’s a joint, bend it. Dublin Studios is very small and lens distortion is almost impossible to avoid. Did you take any outdoor shots of her?

like the lads are saying the first image looks a bit stiff
in the second on I love the use of space around the model
gerardkParticipantciaranParticipantFor me, the rigidity of the arms (and the model) with the distortion from shooting so wide has really taken away from the shots. Post processing wise you “look” is pretty interesting but for my personal taste a tad over cooked :(
_brian_ParticipantShes a lovely looking girl ger ,I’m sure shes happy with the shots, nice work.
