3 in the kitchen last night

These are experiments on a tutorial from ‘Digital SLR Photography” magazine, March 2010.
Very basic set up was approx 2’x3′ smoked pane of glass (free from my local Glazer – tinted glass is SO expensive) on the kitchen table, a large black sheet of paper (from toymaster) underneath, streched out the back and leaning upright against a solid shoe-box. The light was a €3 mini-torch found on ebay.
All f/3.2, ISO 100, RAW and with various shutter speeds and on a tripod.
Gear ~ Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM and Canon EOS 450D.
They look good-
I like the light in the second two especially,
I like the first, but it’s maybe a little overdone compared to the others-Looks like there’s space for something else in the black?
Lovely shots would probably pick the middle one as my favouriote. Good details on what you done with them

2nd and 3rd shots are really nice i will have to give this a go. They almost look like the glow in the dark neon lights/globes you can get
