35mm Point and Shoot?

Any suggestions anyone?

I’d like to buy one for my mum, she doesn’t like digital, or SLR’s.
She’s currently using a camera she got for 3pounds with a voucher from the Belfast Telegraph,
about 4 years ago… Really awful thing, horrible colours from it, but, it’s easy to use and that’s why she likes it…

But, there must be something better for her?

mmm can I ask you what’s the price range you’re looking for?
I was wondering if something like an olympus mju would suit her?
I mean, classy camera for a classy lady, right?

When I was younger I had a few different compact zoom 35mm cameras. The best always seemed to be Pentax.
