    As for panning, I live beside the Curragh plains in Co. Kildare, which has a railway track crossing it, this provides perfect practice for panning, I have been using the trains to get used to this, it has also proved harder then you would expect!

    You will have no bother using the 300 at 1600 iso and still see hardly any noise, especially on damp winter days.

    Have shot footie at 3200 and pics still very usuable depending on what they are for etc. Dont be feared to bang up the iso.
