400d in the hands of a noob!

Hi all,
spent ages reading other forums and stumbled across one. Great to see a photography forum local to Ireland…. I have just entered the world of DSLRs with a 400d, the kit lens and a nifty fifty! Haven’t a clue how to use them – I mean I really don’t know where to start, so hoping to get loads of adivce on here and I might even get brave enough to post a shot for C&C.
No doubt my next post will be about my next lens upgrade :D expensive hobby this!!!

No no no, your next post will be to post some images for ppl to critque for you. Ppl on here will be very fortcoming in helping you learn.

Sorry I use Nikon so can’t comment on the Canon lens, but know a few on here have the Sigma 70-300APO, so hopefully they may give you an opinion!!
