Well it arrived last week in a box so big it would not fit through my studio door, I had to unpack it outside (just as well it was sunny) and it took four of us to carry it in and set it up.
Everything you have heard about epsons 9880 is true, the colours are fantastic! I am very impressed, I was very pleased with my 7800, but this is something different.
I have had one or two teething problems, new printing interface to learn etc but all is going well. Having to profile all the papers again, but thats no real problem.
If any of you are about to buy an Epson printer, speak to Sheldon, he gave me a good deal and came all the way down to Cork to set it up and make sure all was well.

I’ve never had an oversized print made, but I’d love to try it sometime. 10% discount

Any full time pros will get trade discount. The reason being that they know what they are doing and I should not have to do anything to the files. In Theory. Not always the way in practice!
Big prints are great but you need big spaces to hang them to appreciate them. I am fast running out of space. I need a bigger studio!
