A couple of Quick shots on my way to the store.
I don’t know the name of this one.
A differant Iris.

MartinOCParticipantThe first shot is very nice, could be a bit sharper I think, I sometimes lasso around the end of sepals and sharpen up a bit.
The second could be a great photo, but there is something weird going on imho. The flower doesn’t sit well with the background as if its oversharpened, but I thought the same with one of my own photos which came unsharpened from the camera, so it may be the the lens is just a bit too good at isolating the foreground. Am I making sense, I don’t know.
And there are rectangles/verticals all along the left, some cloning perhaps that needs to be feathered in a bit.I hope this helps,
Martin
BrickeeParticipantThanks for the tip Martin.
It was a very bright day And the Iris was a stand alone about twenty feet in front of this background which I think could be why it appears the way it does.
I see what you are talking about with the cloneing in the background. well spoted, Opps  I should hace paid more attn. to what I was doing there.Jim
kenhParticipantBrickeeParticipantThanks for commenting ken,
