A couple of shots that I like

Went out a few days ago after getting my camera back and wanted to see what I could get. Haven’t taken any for a while. I shot in AV mode.

Is the range on this too dark?

I think they came out well. I shoot mainly in AV & change to TV when the situation requires it.

1st one maybe a tad dark but I think the next 2 are spot on, though I like contrasty B&W images. What conversion technique do you use ?

I process in Adobe Lightroom 4.4
