Love it Johnny. Really must get my two girls in and give them a shampoo
and blowdry so I can photograph them.

Just got home half an hour ago to the news that the oldest and longest companion of our cats, Murphy, was run over by a car last night. This all happened early this morning before we were even up. After he was hit he ran under our neighbours car and stayed there all night, the guy who saw him get hit (the person who hit him drove off) tried to coax him out from under the car but he was a fiery cat to anyone he didn’t trust. Anyway..long and the short is that the ISPCA came and took him off to check him out, but phoned our neighbour to tell him that his injuries were too bad and that they had to put him to sleep. We’re all devastated here. Like I said..he could be a cranky cat, but for a cat he was terrible loyal.

I can’t put my hands on a digital shot right now. Had been trying to get that one good shot..wont now. If I find one I’ll put one up. He was a handsome cat…like a miniature Panther.

Anyway..sorry for going on..just wanted to type that…

It can be devastating, they become so much a part of your life.

Yeah..I know…he was such a presence around the house, will be weird…funny thing is…he just arrived one day and never left..but we never felt like we owned him..he just chose to live with us.

We have 4 other cats, but for me he was always No.1..gonna mis the little bugger.

    Oh Robbie,
I am so sorry love. He was such a cool kitster. And, he was sort of yours of the gang of them. I know you’re hurting. I am sorry for your loss.

On a happier note than my post just above here, this is Miss Buffy. She volunteered to semi-pose for the new camera. Shae actually does have two eyes, but she absolutely insisted that this was her good side.
First post with the Olympus E500, and about third or maybe even 30th shot taken with it. Just a very basic edit.

    Thanks for that praise Rob!

I have sooo very much to learn, but I am having a ball.
You can tell I sort of snuck this first post onto the tail end of a thread that doesn’t get a lot of harsh criticism.
 I am a big chicken.

Anyway, really appreciated the ego boost, this camera is faaaaaaaantastic!!!!
