    Thanks for that Lorraine!
Have years of improvement ahead of me, but to have your public approval delights me. I could take a lifetime of lessons from either you or Rob!

She is my sweetie for sure. My girfriends calls her Buffy the Rat Slayer because my cats taught her to catch rodents.

Next post will be a bit braver..say..ummm..my kids

Expresbro – they really are members of the family, aren’t they? Sorry for your loss.

Here’s one of my boys – I’ve never manged to take a photo, I’m happy with, of the other one.

On a happier note than my post just above here, this is Miss Buffy. She volunteered to semi-pose for the new camera. Shae actually does have two eyes, but she absolutely insisted that this was her good side.
First post with the Olympus E500, and about third or maybe even 30th shot taken with it. Just a very basic edit.

Hey..that’s a great shot Shar. Am very impressed. Spot on exposure and lovely composition. Must be the camera of course…

Thanks Stevie. Yeah they really do worm their way into your heart okay

I too found it hard to get a decent shot of our cats. Think they are a lot harder to capture than dogs, photographically and every other way too :)

Don’t let the one on the left fool you, she chews anything.

Well I decided to resurrect an old thread rather than start a new one :D

I managed to get a decent pic of one of our Cats..the mammy…just yesterday. Usually she wont sit still for long enough once you approach her with anything that doesn’t look like food…but she must be taken by my new D300. She posed all Queenly like on our garden wall and I managed to grab quite a few shots. I think this one shows her at her big fluffy best

Anyway..since I never did manage to post a pic in this thread originally..here it is for posterity…Bubbles

Lots of really nice animal shots up above as well…:-) Wonder how most of these guys are getting on? Any updates?
