Right, first of all, I don’t do panorama myself but was just wondering, if this is any bit of different or interesting?
Being not a Dublin person, had the chance of going and seeing a small bit of Howth yesterday and since my DSLR is down in Clare, had only my trusty Sony Cyber-shot with me. This little fella has the automatic panorama option built in it (press the button and move the camera left-to-right) and I don’t use it much, only when in wide landscapes area and/or I really just want to record the place for my own sake. Was messing around with it and the camera even told me not to do so a few times :D but eventually came out with this.
It is not the best quality, some of the automatic stitching is even visible, but was just wondering if someone who does panorama more often could tell me if this type of half-fisheye looking shot is easy to do using normal panorama techniques or is it just some of the digital camera magic? :D
Thanks.
