LoGillParticipantThe colours and tones are just gorgeous accross all three :)
-In the first shot I like that you place the boat on the bottom left third .. looks great – but (in my oppinion) I think there is a bit too much of the river bank in the shot .The second shot is my favourite- Its very nicely composed and the pebbles create a leading line into the photo…. and yes – you’re right ,the reflection in the last shot is superb.
Well done
;)Lorraine
shrapnelMembersome lovely shots here. my fav is the first one because i like the boat and man in the shot plus the ripples spreading behind. The only problem though is that you managed to get the man’s silhouette bang on line with the sun and the brightness takes his head away. Have you got others with the boat a bit farther forward?
richiehatchMemberThanks for the comments…. The one with the boat is my favourite too but i agree that there is too much river bank…. I wasnt intending taking that picture at all and then i noticed him coming up the river so it was literally a 5 second set up…! Unfortunately I had no chance to crop the foreground a bit… the fact that his head is burnt out by the sun doesnt really bother me… its a little distracting but not that much…. I have no other shots of this guy as as said above it was a very quick setup…!
Again many thanks for the comments…
Richie
RobMemberAll three photos are gorgeous in my opinion, but my favourite has to be the second. Colours are fantastic.
TompixBandonMemberWell done, Richie. They are smashing shots ? my vote goes to the third one. It oozes peace.

tatianaMemberExcellent set of images. Fantastic colours and mood. Third is my fav – it looks more dimentional to me and less “heavy”.
Wonderful work!joe_elwayParticipantSuperb work. These shots should make it clear that getting up at unheard of hours in the morning are worth it, especially if you know what you are doing with a camera. Some of the stuff on your site is pure class.
richiehatchMemberCheers Tatiana and Aidan… cant believe commenst are still coming in after nearly 2 months….! Thanks a million

Positive PressureMemberI just have to echo the comments made already and say the light and tones are exceptional. :D I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work posted here.
