A few more shots taken at the cnoc na ros club outing.
This is from Five finger strand, when the rain finally cleared.
As always all C&C welcome good or bad
Two from Malin Head as we got some great light for the sunset.
5faytheParticipantHi Peter,
You’ve got 3 nice images there.
#1 is probably my favourite.
I’m not familiar with the location but it’s an interesting composition
which I find pleasant to view.I really like the way the light falls on the rocks in #2.
Well done.
John.
sirvadMembernice shots (all 3).
i think if 2 was a little darker it would be alot stronger, but thats just my taste. well donecathaldParticipantNice set there Peter
I think it was worth the late evening
No 2 is my fav here as I love the light on the rocksCathal
PD_BARBSParticipantThanks for the comments folks,
Sirvad, I do have a darker one, which I actually preferred, I may stick it up later.
Cathal, it was certainly worth the wait, great spot for the sunsets.
DeeboParticipantGood set Peter
Like all three and very appealing shots
First one works best for me, although I do love the sun on the rocks on the second, just wish the sun was more defined
Deeb318ispParticipanttexMemberPeter I feel that your first photo has 2 strong elements in it (Foreground as in beach area and Background -the remaining area) which work against each other instead of complimenting each other. If you cropped your photo to show the beach and some of the background the picture would gain in impact. The same can be said for the background.
This is of course but my opinion, but check it out and see what you think.Cheers
texPD_BARBSParticipantThanks for the comments folks.
tex, all options are valued, I had a play with it and it does give a different perspective to the shots, it seemed to work better with the cropped foreground over the cropped background. But I would get two for the price of one, so nice perspective on it.
derrycityParticipanthi peter #2 stands out the best for me after the thunder storm you got great light well done
philPD_BARBSParticipantThanks Phil
Glad I didn’t give into the temptation to pack up and go home.
We must try and get out sometime over the summer, let me know if you have any plans.
KWBarbsParticipantPeter,
without a doubt no.2 is the best. Great shot, especially the light bouncing off the rocks…. now all I need is a camera and I can get out again :(
MickSParticipant3 great shots there, well done, but without doubt #2 is my fav. I would love to shoot a long exposure shot there with that light and a ND filter, looks like a great location.
