A few from last Friday

AllinthemindParticipant
Beautiful location, an Aussie marrying a Brit. My camera stopped working halfway through, eek, just as the bride was getting out of the 1 million pound vintage Rolls! Soon sorted it and we were off again, Gawd weddings are tiring.

You can see the whole wedding here:

wjklewisMemberSimon thanks for the link to the wedding I enjoyed going through the photos. Would love some more detail. What flash set up did you use mostly? What happened to the camera?
John.
AllinthemindParticipantThe camera and flash (SB800) got their knickers in a twist, I have no idea why. I reset the batteries and all started working again.
The interior shots were taken with a monoblock head and a small shoot through brollie. YOu can see the position of the light from the shadows. A very simple setup but I think it looks quite elegant.
All best

stcstcMembermy fav would be the last one.
but do like the last three in general
maybe the last one you could add a vignette etc to make it look like an older picture, as i think it would suit the room and setting
the only thing i am not fussed about is how bright the central picture above them is, i dont know if it would look odd toned down a little?
is there one of her with the cr, theres a hint of it in the second
easParticipantMy camera stopped working halfway through, eek
eek is right, must have given you a fright.
I looked at the whole set, i really like the colour versions of the couple on the old sofa. The tones and lighting are very nice.
AllinthemindParticipantThanks guys,
As you’d see in the full-set, that room had reflective things everywhere, pictures all over every wall and on every table. The best I could do without some serious room re-arrangement was to try and get a lightish reflection behind her hair to separate it from the dark wood background.
Steve,
I did actually add a small vignette to the last one and cropped it slightly from the original, what’s a cr?
Thanks for taking the time to comment
