Loved the definition of your photos. Great moment in the second one, but I would prefer to see the animal in a more strategic place of the composition? but it seems you had just a few seconds to make the shot, so..
The fourth its powerful!!
They’re all nice shots, but #2 really stands out for me.
It might not have a straight horizon or be as sharp as you’r want it
But how often have we seen that view …and suddenly you drop a deer in full flight into it!
What a difference a deer makes!
Congrats for being at right place at the right time – with your camera.
Thanks but to make it even more astounding, that was actually shot with a 12-24mm Sigma lens! If I knew a deer was nearby I would have put my telephoto on the camera…..
Matt the Lion is proving very popular lately. When I first looked at the series I asked myself “where the &^$ are the Empreror Penguins in Glendalough?”.
Vertical crop would have worked better on Matt. I’d consider having another go at the RAW to bring down the exposure.
The Deer shot is one of those rare moments of magic. Steve’s got a story about something similar and the same place. Lovely colour.
The Penguins …. the framing is too tight on the main subject. Beaut exposure.
Gorilla and Chimp … too bright out. The light killed those shots.
