A few Holgas pics from Paris
-
MartinParticipant
Haven’t posted any pics in a good while so thought id post up some taken in Paris the other week. This is what I have printed so far…
First 2 are toned B&W prints, other 4 are lith prints
davedunneParticipantThese are wonderful. The mood is spot on in each of them.
I haven’t got my toy cameras out in a long time but I am truly inspired now.
(Next Saturday is World Toy Camera Day by the way).
jodal1975Participanti have to say i really like these..particularly the 1st four. holga can make anything dramatic!
AnonymousParticipantThese are like something shot two hundred years ago!
Couldn’t have picked a better city to take them in.
Truely beautiful, but it’s Paris that makes ’em!MarkKeymasterPretty super work. It looks like you’ve gone back in time for some of these shots.
Martin ‘Atget’ Hughes :)Jonnyp16vParticipantGreat set, I need to get myself a holga. I have my on one from holgamods.
thefizzParticipantMartinParticipantThanks all, they do a have a nice back in time feel alright I think
Forgot Toy Camera day was on Saturday Dave thanks for the reminder, will be sure to shoot a role no matter the weather
Jonnyp16v: Yes you do need to get yourself a Holga, hurry up :-)
Fizzy: Yea must be the paper alright, last two are from your Slavich paper, loving the stuff. The middle two are printed onto old Kodak Bromide paper, it even smells really old, reckon its from the 1950’s give or take 10 years
JohnBWParticipantLoving those pictures Martin – where did you pick up your Holga and which one is it? I’m looking to pick something like this up for a friend as a gift and I’m completely clueless in this area so would appreciate any advice, thanks!

John, I picked up my Holga cameras on eBay. Its a lucky dip as to what the lens will be like in them as they are all produce a slightly different look. Mine is a basic Holga 120N, think I paid around 35 euro earlier this year for it
Remember to buy one for yourself as well as your friend
