MartinParticipant
Haven’t been doing much IR recently. Developed two roles I had hanging around last night which I had taken over the last 2 month.
Below are my favorite 4 shots from the rolesThanks for looking
MBronica SQAi 80mm, Rollei IR400 devd in RHS
Tree beside the River Boyne, Slane Co Meath
Curragh Graveyard, Co Kildare
Trim Co Meath
Ruined Castle on the River Boyne outside Navan Co meath
AsterixParticipantwow Martin! love them all, especially the graveyard shot. excuse my ignorance but what kind of equipment do you use for infrareds?

I used to use a Nikon D70 which I had converted to an Infrared only digital camera. More recently I have been using a Bronica medium format camera with Infrared film and an R72 filter to block out visible light.

Cheers Steve
jessthespringerParticipantExcellent stuff…. As always! Think it would be no.4 for me, that cross on the ground looks interesting.
So, how do you compare the D70 to the Bronica?
Sinead.
DeeboParticipantBrill set Martin. I am with Jess the fourth shot is great and the cross makes it
Alan RossiterParticipantHI Maritn,
I’m looking at these on a crappy monitor and everything seems dark on it so on the finish, I cannot comment. But the image #2 really stands out. The headstones seem to be rising from the ground, ghost-like which adds to the atmosphere. Really nice set.
Alan.
RobMemberVery good Martin, impressive IRs as usual. I especially like the
tree and Dunmoe Castle (I’m assuming that’s what I’m seeing).
How on earth did you get so close to it?Rob.
Madra RuaParticipantNow these make ME jealous.
#2 and #4 are my favorites.
You have to show me where that castle is some time.Only a little niggle, but I tend to agree with Alan.
They seem a little too dark (except for #4) – or too much contrast.thefizzParticipantNo 2 is class and the shot of “my” castle is also good
You’re definitely getting great use from the bronnie, keep it up.
They don’t look dark on my monitor, but then again my monitor is not calibarted in any way. They will make super prints though.

mgstParticipantBrickeeParticipantmcmartinParticipantmartin those are absolutely brilliant… well as usual… really like no 1 and 4… as for n4 i think composition could gain more if the tower was off centre little bit…
