RobderrycityParticipantgreat set of shots have you any from the church
what exif did you use
well doneJim LeeParticipantYou have managed to capture the “Fun” of the couples “Big Day”.
However I feel these are photographs taken at a wedding rather than Wedding Photographs.
Were there any images which you had “set up” or posed?
I’m sure the couple were over the moon with these results and appreciate that you produced those images that they had commissioned.
Yes I am of the “old school” of Wedding Photography and still use those things that I have been taught, even for the informal images which are now expected from couples.
In your second image if the the bouquet had been lowered to the side of the bride we could see the detail of the bodice.
In the group shot, had the fellas jacket buttons been opened, the ladies on the outside moved in and the fellas placed on the outside. If everyone had been positioned so as to see their faces, then asked to give a cheer.
It may be nit-picking but a bit of thought and a the difference is noticeable.RodredMemberthanks for the feed back Jim, i see what you mean about a bit more thought.
it was my brothers wedding, so i was called in. was a bit stressful trying to
be part of the day and take the photos. they were looking for very casual shots
and were happy with them. but i would have loved more time to experiace to
do the points that you mentioned.derry ill see if i can find soem of the entrance, came out the side entrance
of the church, was not allowed to take any pics in the church other than
signing the register, very annoying but thems was the rules.thanks again for the feedback

PandybellyParticipantLovely work. They should be delighted with them. I especially like the first shot, really natural, well exposed and tack sharp. Good job.
