I only saw this as a result of the nomination for POTM-
dunno how it passed me by-

Fabulous picture-

What type of fish is that?
I know less about fish than I do about birds,
but it’s probably not a herring-

Is it?

Thanks joseph…its a red gurnard, very hard and spikey. I dont think he ate it, and if he did he’s probably dead now.
