A few night shots
-
wirepicParticipant
A few shots of Annecy in France from a recent trip. The company I work for has a plant near there and I sometimes have to travel there to work. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it!
Didn’t get a chance to do muchwith these, just a little sharpening and the b&w conversions.
All C & C welcome.

robmgraMemberthe last one does it for me…lovely shot…nicely composed and very vibrant. looks like a lovely little place.
aoluainParticipantOOOH,
Nice set there.
The last one for me definately, nice composition, nicely exposed with different colourfull lighting.
#1 is nice too. this is probably how I would have shot it composition wise but I know
for sure most people would say there is too much water and nort enough of the buildings.
Maybe try and brightem up the shadows to reveal some detail there.#3 is nice also, good composition and nicely exposed.
#2 has great potential but I would concentrate if you get a chance again on the bottom half
of the pic, the brickwork, steps and railing leading up to the door at the top are very interesting
but the top half of the image isnt doing anything.my 2 cents . . .

wirepicParticipantMany thanks Alan and Rob. This town has won awards for the way it uses lighting to display it’s buildings.
Alan, I’ll take on board what you said about 1 and 2. In 1 I was looking to get the reflections. The way they stretched into the water appealed to me. And apart from the church, the buildings aren’t really that interesting.
I do hope to get back there again soon. I can only hope that it has just rained so I get the nice water droplets on the railing again. All I need now is for someone to park a bike alongside it!
b318ispParticipantwirepicParticipantThanks for the comment Brendan. When you’ve got good subject matter it makes things all the easier.
BlackBladeParticipantDeeboParticipantLovely set of shots and defo selling the town as a place to visit.
I like the long reflections on the first but last 2 are my faves with the last one shading itkenhParticipantwirepicParticipant
