A good Book on modren photography

All the photography books I have predate the dominance of Digital. Can anyone recommend a good general photography book based around digital photography. Include the computer side after the photo is taken.

It’ll be difficult to get a book to cover photography and what to do afterwards…well, a book worth complementing anyway.
All I can suggest on the digital side of post processing would be this one:

Trying to get a book to cover all angles might be a futile exercise.

I have a few upstairs James, am just taking the waynes to school and will look when i come home.
As far as i remember, it covers everything from basics to processing then putting on web etc.

Have a couple, but …………Tom Ang’s “digital photographers hand book” seems to be the besty…
Ogffers everything from Equipment-techniques-effects-and projects.
I bought this in Easons.

Real World Digital Photography is good, but the 2nd edition is now a bit dated.
I second the vote from Alan. I have this book too and its a cracker.
Still not worked through it all, but I do go back to it everytime I edit. I have it in work with me today ;-)
