A hooker from Galway

Taken yesterday while down at Galway with the lads
The amount of fine yachts and power cruisers was stunning
but it was great to see one of these guys with the sails up
Ah, I was expecting an art nude here… misleading title :)
Very nice colours on that boat, I love the looks of it… but the image has too much contrast. Not enough detail in the boats darker parts and the sky is very bland.
I think, I would prefer a colse up of the sailor, that little detail in the very middle of the image looks interesting: the sailor lit by the Sun looking ahead, sail up and the boat is cutting the waves. I wish that the lighthouse and land weren’t there in the background.

The evening light was very harsh there and shooting into the sun didnt help.
Might be nice in mono too! I would clone out the masts of the boats in the backround
meself.Nice one
