A little bit of Edinburgh Castle

Had a couple of days in Edinburgh and really enjoyed it, the weather was beautiful and
the old town is a wonderful place to wander around, the old buildings and the atmosphere
are great. I will definitely return and see everything I missed this time which is loads.
It’s a brilliant location for taking pictures, I was lucky enough to be their for the fringe festival. Plenty of characters and street performers knocking about then

Great! The Royal wedding was that weekend and the place was buzzing with people, it was very enjoyable.

We had a weekend there for a wedding in May and I enjoyed it too.
I like your picture too.
With the mass of black in the lower LHS it probably shouldn’t work but
I think it looks pretty good.Nice bit of colour left in sky too.

nice view, but a little soft. would benifit from a tripod, or simply taking the image while balancing the camera on a wall or something so it doesnt move.

Thanks, It was on a Gorilla pod on the railings but if anyone leaned on them they
shook like mad :lol: Next time I will bring the tripod!Nice shot Shutterbug.
Clever framing/cropping, love the use of sharp
edged shadowed area as contrasted against the light.Can you PM any website locations where your work can be viewed.
