    nice. im just a learner also, but what i see here is good composition. you gave the duck room to walk into the photo. perhaps crop a little off the top and right.

    its a little underexposed and slightly soft, but nonetheless a good photo that could be tinkered with. and the main thing also is your out there trying things

    Hi Fquihen,

    thanks very much for your comment. You are so right about the “underexposed and slightly soft”. I curved the original a bit too much i think, that’s why it appeared underexposed. As for the softness, I was shooting portrait the day before, and forgot to change the sharpness, classic mistake!

    Here is what I have done according to your advice, what do you think?

    Great stuff. what do you mean you were shooting portrait and forgot to change the sharpness? are you referring to the selected apature ( F value)?
