A nice relaxed evening

I came across with this view last day. I got a nice soft light, but I missed the tripod. I’m just an amateur, forgive me.

I like the reflections in the water and would have
like to see a little of the buildings above the bridge,
just a hint of them, but I like the structure of the
    bridge.

I have the small version of the original here. I thought that the busy road in the background was too disturbing. I’m not absolutely happy with the capture, so I might shoot it again once.

Yep you are right, you would have had to
have been down in the Liffey to miss the
traffic and then you probably wouldnt have
got the reflection!! (and very wet feet)

dunno why you’re praying for forgiveness,
its a well seen and captured shot,
    and you know it-

    I’d agree with you-
obviously worth going back and to do again,
but the law of diminishing returns
    will immediately kick in,
making it difficult to get substantially better than what you’ve got here-

But if the ambition is there,
    then, go for it-

    love the reflections,
and think I prefer the conversion-

Your first version is better for me.

I love the reflections. The only niggle for me is the non-straight line so close to the top edge. Not much you can do about this (as you’ve shown).

    Well spotted.

Well spotted shot and one I would be proud to have shot, dont be worrying about it. Tis a very good shot.

For me, the crop is perhaps a tiny bit too tight on the subject in the top of the frame. But apart from that it’s a very well spotted and captured photo. One to print out to be sure!
