Nice image and a great evening to take it good light on the rocks in the background,. One suggestion is you might use the foreground rocks as a “lead in” to your photo, get down low. They look nice and knowing Kilfarressy they wont be there always, as the tides are strong on that beach and will cover them with sand within the coming weeks. well done though

It’s not Kilfarassy :D or evening. About 3pm If I remember rightly :D I think I had climbed up onto some other rocks to take that one.

    Thanks John.

I used to come down hard on horizon criminals with my truncheon. Lucky for you I’ve mellowed in my old age. A bit of clockwise rotation is needed to straighten it out.

I’m not a big fan of overly polarised skies. Sometimes it can work if the cloud patterns are interesting or there is something bright to contrast with it. I’m not sure about it in this case. I sometimes think polarisers are bit of a corruption that we get from reading too many travel brochures.

If I were at this location I would probably have angled the camera lower and shifted it a tad to the left for a stronger lead. As it stands, the bottom seem incomplete and the weak lead is taking me too far away to the left.
