A short walk in Enniscorthy.

I was in Enniscorthy for an hour or so one Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago.
A couple of the shots are not street but I wanted to keep them together as they were all taken on the one walk.

    Thanks for looking.

    John.

This shop took my attention because of the understated decor and the lack of activity coming towards lunchtime on a Saturday morning.

This was just around the corner from the shop above.
I can image the lads discussing certain winners & the lad phoning for tips.

This was across the road from the previous scene.
The signs promise a lot but the doors were locked.

There’s a farmers market here every Saturday.
    Organic everything including firewood.
I think the expression of the person on the left is priceless.

Hi John,A good set of shots, recording a time and place. I suppose I’m just a little prejudiced, I don’t live too far from Enniscorthy. Mike

    Hi John,
There is a bit of barrel distortion in the first and third which appeal to more more than the street scenes. I am not sure if its a case of just getting good light but the pale green colour is very nice in the first. Whatever way you toned the third one works very well, lovely textures above the door and to the sides of the windows. I presume the sun was fairly strong from slightly behind you on the left. The last one, the guy on the left is the most appealing part of the image and would have made a good subject on his own. The second one, there are lots of verticals in the middle, I would like to have seen more of the old woman with the shopping bag.
