A Sunny Day?! Are You Sure?

…although the place was absolutley covered in ice

Just got my new nifty fifty last week for my 21st and this was my first chance to get out and use it. My favourite photography is motorsports and I use an F5.6 most of the time for it, but having F1.8 is fantastic, solves a lot of problems so I now want the 70-200 f2.8 even more than what I did before

    Anyway back to today…

The tree shot was handheld, gutted at the motion blur around the end of the branches :bang:

Any opinions, comments or criticism welcomed as always, thanks for looking.

Nicse set of shots, I particularly like the first and last ones.

Great wee lens isn’t it, you will have some fun with it.

I like all of these, I guess particularly the third, great detail and clarity in all, obviously a worthwhile piece of machinery.

I like all of these. A very nice set but #2 shines above the rest IMO.

    Lovely shots all~~

The third would suit my taste the most..though I haven’t got a problem with any of them.

This lens is such a treat. Mine recently broke and instantly everywhere I turned I saw a reason I needed it. It was very frustrating. Enjoy it and happy birthday!!!
