A bit like the last comment I made on one of your shots,
I think this might be a bit too tall-
and maybe even a bit too far away altogether-
It makes too much of the sky, which I think might be a distraction from the textures in the stonework, and the tree-
There might also be a bit too much foreground, for me-
I’m wondering too if there might be something to be had closer up, and if you might have taken it?
I’m guessing you were using one of your filters for that wooly sky effect?
I suppose I’d question its use-
all that motion in the background is taking away from the subject-
assuming of course that the subject is the tree (and stonework) and not a moving sky…
Obviously, only my opinion…
but it looks like there’s a lot to work with without having to rely on effects-
I do like the movement in the sky but agree with Joseph that it take away a little from the ruin
Did you process the one with the old gas burner thing in the foreground?
