I really like the second one. A real dog “portrait” if you know what I mean. Lovely catch-light in the eye and there is just enough separation between the subject and the background. Nice and sharp too. Chop a bit off the right so she is looking into the frame.
Is there something funky going on with the white balance in the first one?
I see what you mean about the crop on the second. Never saw that myself
so I’ll give it a go.
As for the white balance in the first image, I’d say that’s got everything to do
with the darkened side windows of the car…

Goegeous shot that second one Rob! A twin for my mom’s dog Sugar who was 19! Really takes me back to her, it is so beautifully done and lifelike….very classy!!
And Miss Holly, she is a dolly ..What a lovely subject who obviously has been trained to smile for the camera! Good job daddy :wink:
