Some of my favourite photos of my own kids are when they’re not smiling as it feels like I’ve captured
something of them rather than something posed…Really excellent portraits, very natural, especially the second, the framing on the second wins it for me.
The freckles in the second and the slightly food stained face on the first, both magic!Well done.

I just came across these photographs while getting used to the site as I am a newbie! Rob, I have to say I took one look at these and they really look like some photos taken of photographer Sally Mann’s children.. if you don’t know her go check her photographs out. They are both gorgeous photographs. I love the black and white! Keep it up :)
great shots. first is brilliant , fantastic capture of the expfression / eyes , well done
gorgeous shots, beautiful lighting and B&W conversion, first shot IMO has focus on the noise to the upper lip and not the eyes
second shot can not fault it superbphillip
2 really nice shots, I prefer the 1st shot of the two, really captivating eyes and the framing of the photo works really well, as does the b&w conversion, Well done

mind me asking you what did you do with the black/white? using lightroom, photoshop, Nik Software? share with us as I would like to give it a go!
