Advice on Covering a Boxing Match

Going at the weekend to cover a fight for work, just wondered if anyone can offer any advice on set up etc.

I am taking the 5D with the 24-105L Lens and the 40D with the 70-200

    Any advice would be appreciated

Unless you have D3 or the other , you will need plenty of batteries with flash, and power pack if you have it. I always stand up on the opposite corners to the fighters. just watch out if they are near your corner when shooting, always be ready to stand out of there way.

Try some shots from the ground aswell to get a different perspective, but watch out for the ropes as you can get them in the shot.

I founf it hard to shoot the first few times, you nearky have to shoot as they are throwing punch, and i alwyas fire of in two shot bursts.

    hope this helps.

    Sean.
