    Hello everyone i’m a beginner in the photography world just learning and trying to gain advice and tips as i go
    got myself a lovely Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC (Nikon Mount) not the (OS version) what do others think of this lens only used it few times
    and still getting to know it seems to be good so far its got a great zoom on it

    I’ve started with a similar zoom lens. I my opinion you should use it until you find out what kind of photography interest you the most.
    Then you’ll get a gear specific to your needs. In general, you’ll learn a lot shooting with such a lens.

    My advice is always to get your hands on the “nifty fifty” 50mm F1.8 prime lens. They can be picked up for less than €100 2nd hand. You will learn more about composition and photography by having to use your feet to get different viewpoints rather than standing in the same position zooming in and out.
