Ah finally found one too, but she was a bit shy

After searching for ages, I finally found a crab spider too. She was a bit shy & kept hiding under the flower. :lol: :lol:

Dave: they have 4 pairs of eyes, but thankfully their eyesight isn’t great. They see light & shade very well, but not great at making out detail.
:DThis a crab spider shoot-off?! :lol: The closer someone gets, the spookier the spider looks, to me anyway, brr. You could almost feel the texture of his legs!! Very nice (??) detail.
Congrats on finding him. Looks like he is munching on pollen :DThanks Vee. No, not a shoot off. I’ve been looking for these guys for months, without any joy & was delighted to find one. It’s usually crawling with them around here, but they are very scarce this year. Maybe it’s from all the rain.
