Hope you took this through glass even the name sounds nasty. Unfortunately it seems to have made it soft, there is a great DOF :wink: The focus has definitely hit the nose and threw the eyes out of focus, just a pity the eyes aren’t sharp. But considering what it is and what I think you had to do to get the picture, great work. This is as close as I would get to it :DSoda

Hahaha! Indeed it was taken through glass…. dirty glass at that!!!
Unfortunately I had very limited wiggle room so i just couldn’t get the focud on the eyes!!!!
Thanks for the compliment, as a photo it’s one of my favourites even out of focus!!!! Even still to me it looks a bit….. ah i dunno there is just something missing or maybe it is just the eyes!!!Thanks though and just to let you know …. it’s my boyfriends snake!!!!

Lovely snake. It’s a pity about the focus on the eyes. I don’t think anything is missing other than direct eye contact except possibly a slightly lower viewpoint & a brave window cleaner. Well done
