Lovely sunny frosty mornings this week. just couldn’t resist taking Alice out for a while in her Christmas coat.

This is the first time I’m tried this layout. The template for it was kindly made available by gingerpixel on her blog http://www.gingerpixel.com/.
    Any thoughts?

I like the layout and some lovely shots (not sure about the door knock one). Is white baance the same in all of them?

    All best

These are excellent – beautiful little girl.
I like the layout but I think that the first 3 are the strongest and would work really well on their own. The main picture is cracking.

Thanks Si and KWBarbs for looking and taking the time to post.
Yep, I see what you mean, the top three are the best so if I ditch the bottom ones it’ll look better overall.
I used auto WB on all of them. The main difference would be the use of flash in a couple of the bottom pics. Which didn’t work out that well. SO. lesson learned there.

    Thanks very much.

Lovely set and how cute :) door knock seems the weakest but its a stong set of photos nicely arranged.

    Thanks Pitmatic.

It’s strange that the door knock one is one of the mothers favourites. I never can tell which ones the parents will go for… different perspectives I guess.
I think that image worked better in portrait. Putting it in the layout, and cropping it to square didn’t work. What do you think of the image on it’s own?

    Thanks,

    Hey Dee,

Lovely set of pics and the arrangement is really good too.

My fav’s are the top 3 really but I dont shoot portraits so that is nothing to go by.

The light in the top right pic is wonderfull and nicely exposed too!

    Well done.
