The area was rich in copper and was populated by >3000 miners at one point. The landscape is jagged and stark and the area itself (on the Atlantic edge), always appears to be dark and foreboding . The shots I have taken have both of the above in mind whilst attempting to reflect in the shots
Thanks guys and yes Mark I could not recommend the area enough, its a landscape photographers paradise taking in everything from waterfalls to cliff faces, old mines etc etc etc ….key to a visit is to watch the weather. the west facing rock faces light up really nicely under a setting sun
lovely image, again i wud work more on the sky if it were mine, particularly on the blown highlights, still nice image. what part of the country is it?
