Really Nice Ras, i like it a lot. possibly try and pull a bit more shadow detail from the trees on the left but the screen i am viewing it on at the moment is an older monitor so it might be making it look darker to me.
thanks guys , Yes the lighting was difficult on this one. Will visit again. Struggled not to overexpose for the backlit sky. How do you find the duo tone effect?. Was experimental but felt it befitted the picture??
Don’t care too much for the colour that you have toned it with, and the shadow area is a bit on the heavy side.
I think that you should crop out a lot of the foreground and you will have a lovely mirror image. Your colour shot is far superior IMO. Could I also suggest that you leave out that “cycle of life photography” logo in your photo, I think it is an uncalled for distraction.
both versions are really nice, you just can’t beat calm water for reflections.

I really like the 1st a lot. The only thing I felt let it down was the text in the top right corner, I just think it takes away from the picture. Maybe put it under the title. I would be happy out to have taken that picture, nice work.
