How’s the trip going so far Aiden? Didn’t take you long to get the camera out anyway…!!
You should just start a seperate thread and call it Joe Elway in the US :D :D
AliParticipantNo..No..No. I’ve got one .. “Joe Elway does Virginia” :). Aidan, you should have been out getting sunrise :D
joe_elwayParticipantRobbie,
I’ve been drunk, eaten by mosquitoes and sunburned. Typical Irish man on holidays :-) And my checked in bag spent a night in new Jersey while I was in Virginia courtesy of the slow baggage handlers in Newark. Was down in the outer banks in North Carolina on Tuesday and yesterday. Loads of wildlife. Heck … LOADS of Osprey nests but mostly way out of reach of my 400mm. The conference is starting right now but I’ll be heading down that direction again on Monday (I think … don’t even know what today is).
GrahamBParticipantAidan,
you need to spread your wings ( i thought you would like that )
get some landscape shots, go on you know you want to.ExpresbroParticipantYeah…c’mon Aiden…let’s see some stunning American landscapes….and plenty of smalltown America :D
You must be in shutterbug heaven there..!!
AliParticipantEvery time i see the title of this thread i break out singing “American Woman”. :) hehe. Looks like i could have a new karaoke tune.
Like a virgin doesn’t really cut it any more.On a side note: Yeh Aidan, get your flippin’ freak on and let me see some of that them there tumbleweed god dammit. :D
joe_elwayParticipantI actually have a couple of sites scouted out for some land or *ahem* sea scapes down in North Carolina. I ended up getting drunk on Tuedasy night so shots were out of the question. There was a storm last night so no shot happened last night and it is overcast today. Plus I’m in seminars until late… the last one will be the most important one to attend too. I’ll be getting ack to full time shooting on Monday. Lots of docks, old world timber buildings that we all think of when we think USA, old barns, etc. Last year, I think I had 2 wildlife shots and waaay more landscape/travel shots.
Graham … bad, bad pun.
Robbie, where I’m heading on Monday is definitely small town.
Curse you Ali, now I have Lenny Kravitz running thru my mind. :-)
DenverDollParticipantOh my god Aidan, you are so young! American Woman was originally the The Guess Who.. :D
And if you think that is a big robin, you should see the size of them in Texas
Anyway, hope you are having a great time, sounds like it by all your own account, aside the late bag thang
GrahamBParticipantAidan – it sounds like you have a cunning plan HATCHING to get some cool shots.
You need find a good NESTING spot to get those perfect shots.
I don’t mean to EGG you on but I feel your talent has yet to TAKE FLIGHT.
Afterall you are being BILLED as the next big thing in Wildlife photography.
Oh and if you’re hung over you won’t be your usual CHIRPY self.
So get up early, as the saying goes “the early bird catches the worm”SwordieMemberjoe_elway wrote:
