Angels

Hi all

I was walking around my local cemetary this morning, I went with the intention of shooting the faces of the angel statues, I was just curious to see if they were all different or a standard visage. What I found is that they are generally of a generic look and that the majority of them have their eyes closed.

I was a little surprised to see how few angel statues there are, the cemetary has graves dating back 150 years and the angels I found were in the older section.

Anyway, here’s two that I really liked.

I like the first shot, the ivy is nice. You clipped the wing in the second shot and
of course they are all female………angels are girls silly. :D

No no no…………..angels are girls, the silly bit refers to Paul thinking that there were
boy angels, they are called cherubs.

Don’t agree that angels are girls. Wasn’t Lucifer an angel before he was thrown out of heaven ???? have you seen the movie Dogma ? Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were angels in that. Get your facts right folks. :)
