I would love to see a pic of them!
Im a bit of a hoarder myself and find it hard to part with my gear even though
they might only be used once a year.Might be a nice thread to start sometime, to get people to post a pic of their gear . . .
yea MIR is a great resource site for general info on gear!
randomwayMemberWhen a film camera with lens cost the same as a memory card, I am not surprised, you can’t stop buying them… just don’t forget taking pictures or you will become something else, a different species: a collector.

Hi Mark,
For you information, I fine the following site “MIR” an excellent resource for past tense cameras
from all makes, also includes a full line up of all Nikons lenses with technical information
and manuals and some reviews for the bodies and lenses. There are a lot of pages here !!They also have pages for Canon, Olympus, Contax etc etc.
Dont know if you have come across it, here goes anyway. Enjoy!
Alan

I checked out this fellows site from a link on another post. Good site but did you follow his link to his ebay shop. Don’t look Mark or your credit card will instantly burst in to flames. This guy doesn’t sell cheap stuff. A lot of it is in priced in $thousands, not for the faint-hearted. He has a lovely Olympus SP, boxed and pristine but the price!!!! $948!! plus postage from California. I used my father’s one of these when I was in college but it was stolen from my brother’s apartment in New York years ago. $948??? I’m off to have a word with my brother!!!!
Darkroom DaveParticipantHi Mark,
Glad to see I’m not alone in having the disease of buying used Nikon film bodies! At present,I have five – F100,F801s,FE2,FM2N and an FA.I am really trying hard to find reasons to not get an F4 or F5,but I’m struggling to convince myself!! By the way,are you going to the Intermediate darkroom course with Peter Fitzsimons at the end of March? If you are,I’ll see you there.
Cheers,Dave.
MarkKeymasterDave, I will if my enlarger ever arrives and I get some practice with it :D
randomwayMemberMark, if you want something really cool and you get bored with plain slr’s, get one of these:
http://www.rugift.com/photocameras/photosniper_412_zenit_camera.htmYou will definitely stand out of the crowd, and you will get special treatment on the airports, too.
