Was asked to shoot this band at the Dunbrody Festival yesterday.
Post Processing – Desaturate, dodge areas of detail, burn, a small bit of smart sharpen.

Like ’em…especially 4 and 8, they’d be great for screenprinting onto black t-shirts and selling at gigs for ridiculous prices :wink:
I love 1,5,6 and 8. I think the conversion is just right for these shots. Not your typical b/w coversion but i like them alot.

Been learning to use dodge/burn instead of any curves/levels/contrast adjustments!
Makes for a completly different, and almost softer conversion than your typical curves!

I think the ‘too perfect’ ness comes from the smart sharpening and dodging, it’s an effect that I like though :D
Yeah these are wicked man,well done. Although i’d prefer the one with the slow sync kinda gives the feeling of movement especially with the headbangers :lol:
