Another Hello from Kildare

Hi Everyone,
Just thought I’d introduce myself…
I’ve been lurkin on this site for the past few weeks and I think it’s fantastic. I’m new to photography and would love to take some proper photographs rather than my previous family snaps!
No better place to learn eh? This site has been an inspiration in ‘getting up to speed’ with a new hobby. Thanks!
Thanks also to the guys who put the photo show on at Newbridge Riverbank. I sat and enjoyed a coffee while watching an impressive slideshow (had to be better than Christmas Shopping!)
I’ll have loads of questions for the experts on here, but please bear with me….I follow the view that there are no stupid questions :D

The guys who put on that show in the Riverbank meet every second thursday in Lumville House off the Curragh. The next meeting is on Thursday 15th January and you would be most welcome to come along as it’s a brand new club and we are trying to grow it and everyone is welcome regardless of ability. Most of the members are very new to photography, myself included.
