Another newbie macro shooter!

Shutterbug and I must have gotten the same idea this morning! I went out the back garden and shot these little fellas. I don’t know whether they’re wasps or bees or what! :)
C + C welcome also…
Shot with the Sigma APO DG 70-300 lens using the macro switch.

beef…Beef two very good macro shots. I like the first one great DOF etc Hoopefully you will try more they are a lot more difficult to take than people would think.
SodaCoupla Hoverflies there beef, one of my favourite macro subjects and nicely shot too :wink: Now try shooting them in flight :lol:
Thanks guys! Yeah I was trying for about half an hour to get the little buggers while in flight! It’s very difficult because of the need to manual focus. Great fun though!! This tame effort is all I could come up with Noelly, not for C + C mind!!!! :D
